One-pan skillet with seasoned beef, rice, tomatoes, and melted cheese in a taco-style blend.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1 cup rice
1 onion diced
3 cloves garlic
1 can diced tomatoes
2 cups broth
Spices
Cheddar cheese
Monterey Jack cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown beef in skillet.
  2. Add onion and garlic.
  3. Stir in spices and rice.
  4. Add tomatoes and broth.
  5. Simmer until rice is cooked.
  6. Top with cheese and melt.
  7. Mix and serve warm.

Notes

Add broth if mixture thickens too much.
Use low heat for even rice cooking.
