Ingredients

2 boneless chicken breasts, sliced
Salt, pepper, Italian herbs
2 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
4–6 garlic cloves, minced
½–1 tsp red pepper flakes
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes or 1½ cups passata
½ cup heavy cream
Optional: ½ tsp sugar, Parmesan, fresh parsley
10 oz pasta (penne, rigatoni, etc.)
Instructions
Season and sear chicken in 1 tbsp oil until golden. Set aside.
Sauté onion and garlic in remaining oil. Add chili flakes.
Stir in tomato paste, cook 1 min. Add tomatoes, simmer 10 min.
