1½ lbs ground chicken
½ cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
¼ cup milk
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ small onion, grated
2 tbsp chopped parsley or basil
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
¼ cup marinara sauce + more for topping
½ cup shredded mozzarella (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a loaf pan or line a baking sheet.
Mix all ingredients except marinara and mozzarella in a bowl until just combined.
Shape into a loaf and place on pan. Brush top with ¼ cup marinara.
Bake 45–55 minutes, until 165°F internal temp.
Top with more marinara and mozzarella in last 5–10 minutes.
