Creamy, cheesy penne tossed with seasoned chicken, ranch, bacon, and cheddar — a one-pot comfort food classic ready in 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 8 oz penne pasta (uncooked)
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon until crispy, remove and crumble. Sear chicken in same pan until golden and cooked.
  2. Add pasta, broth, cream cheese, and ranch seasoning. Stir, bring to simmer, cover and cook 10–12 minutes.
  3. Stir in cheddar and half the bacon. Serve hot, topped with remaining bacon and herbs.

Notes

  • Add milk or broth if sauce thickens too much.
  • Use shredded rotisserie chicken for a shortcut.
  • Add spinach or broccoli for more veggies.
