Juicy chicken breasts simmered in a creamy, garlicky ranch-seasoned sauce. Rich, cozy, and made in just one skillet—perfect for weeknights or meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale

2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced into 4 cutlets)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 packet (or 2 tbsp) ranch seasoning mix
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley or chives, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken cutlets with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil and butter in skillet over medium-high. Sear chicken 4–5 min per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. Lower heat. Sauté garlic 30 seconds.
  4. Stir in cream cheese and broth until smooth. Add cream and ranch mix. Simmer 2–3 min.
  5. Return chicken to pan. Spoon sauce over top. Simmer 2–3 more min.
  6. Garnish and serve hot.

Notes

Use thighs instead of breasts if preferred. Add bacon or cheese for extra richness. Great with mashed potatoes or veggies.
