Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta is a bold, comforting dinner made with seasoned chicken, a spicy Cajun cream sauce, and perfectly cooked pasta. Fast, flavorful, and irresistibly creamy!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)

  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, sliced

  • 23 tsp Cajun seasoning

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 23 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 small onion, diced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Optional: sliced bell peppers, parsley, chili flakes

Instructions

  • Cook pasta to al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, drain and set aside.

  • Season chicken with Cajun spice, salt, and pepper. Sear in olive oil until cooked. Set aside.

  • In same skillet, melt butter. Sauté onion and garlic (and peppers if using) until soft.

  • Add cream and broth. Simmer gently 2–3 minutes. Stir in Parmesan and season to taste.

  • Add chicken and pasta. Toss everything together, adding pasta water as needed.

  • Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use half-and-half for lighter version

  • Add spinach or mushrooms for variety

  • Adjust spice to preference with cayenne or hot sauce
