Bold and creamy Cajun-spiced chicken tossed with tender pasta in a rich garlic-Parmesan cream sauce — a perfect one-pan weeknight dinner with heat and flavor!

 

Ingredients

  • 12 oz penne or fettuccine pasta
  • 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil + 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth (optional)
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Optional: red pepper flakes, parsley, cooked veggies

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta to al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water.
  2. Season chicken with Cajun spices, salt, and pepper.
  3. Sear chicken in oil and butter until golden; remove.
  4. Sauté garlic (and optional onion), then add cream and broth.
  5. Stir in Parmesan and simmer. Return chicken to pan.
  6. Add pasta and toss. Adjust sauce with pasta water.
  7. Serve hot with garnish.

Notes

Customize spice level, add veggies, or use shrimp instead of chicken. Reheats well for 3–4 days.
