A cozy one-pot creamy beef pasta made with ground beef, garlic, herbs, and a rich cheese-laced sauce. Hearty, simple, and perfect for cold nights.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ground beef (85–90% lean)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
23 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp Italian seasoning
3 cups beef broth
8 oz short pasta (penne, rotini, or shells)
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or Parmesan)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: chopped parsley or extra cheese for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet or pot over medium-high heat. Brown beef for 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add onion and garlic. Sauté 2–3 minutes.
  3. Stir in tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook 1–2 minutes.
  4. Add beef broth and pasta. Stir well. Cover and simmer for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and shredded cheese. Simmer 2–3 more minutes until sauce thickens.
  6. Taste, adjust seasoning, and serve hot.

Notes

Use turkey for a lighter version. Stir in spinach or mushrooms for extra veggies. Reheats well with a splash of broth.
