Creamy lemon feta pasta made with simple ingredients and bold flavor. A quick and comforting Mediterranean-inspired dinner ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or orzo)

  • 6 oz block feta, crumbled

  • Zest of 1 lemon

  • Juice of ½1 lemon

  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 small garlic clove, minced or roasted (optional)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)

  • ½¾ cup reserved pasta water

  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley, dill, or basil

Instructions

  • Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ¾ cup pasta water, then drain.

  • In a large bowl, combine feta, olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic, and seasonings.

  • Add hot pasta and ½ cup pasta water to the bowl. Stir until creamy.

  • Add more water for a looser sauce, or more lemon for brightness.

  • Serve immediately, garnished with herbs or add-ins if desired.

Notes

  • Use gluten-free or whole grain pasta if needed.

  • Stir in chickpeas, spinach, or roasted veggies for a fuller meal.

  • Keeps well in fridge up to 4 days—great for lunch leftovers.
