Creamy Salmon Pasta with Rich Flavor (15 Min)

A quick and creamy salmon pasta recipe made with flaky seared salmon, garlic, Parmesan, and a splash of lemon. Perfect for busy weeknights—on the table in 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
8 oz pasta (spaghetti, linguine, or penne)
1 tbsp olive oil or butter
2 tbsp butter (divided)
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Juice of ½ lemon
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: red pepper flakes, parsley, dill

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water. Drain.
  2. Season salmon with salt and pepper. Sear in oil or butter, 3–4 min per side. Flake and set aside.
  3. In same pan, sauté garlic in butter 30 sec.
  4. Add cream, simmer 1–2 min. Stir in Parmesan until smooth.
  5. Add salmon and pasta. Toss to coat, adding pasta water if needed.
  6. Finish with lemon juice, herbs, and pepper. Serve warm.

Notes

Use canned salmon for a shortcut. Add spinach or peas for extra veggies. Lighten with half-and-half.
