Creamy Cajun Sausage Pasta is a bold, flavorful one-pot dish made with smoky sausage, tender pasta, and a spicy Cajun cream sauce. A fast and filling dinner perfect for weeknights.
12 oz smoked sausage (sliced)
12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
1 bell pepper, sliced
½ onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1–2 tsp Cajun seasoning
3½ cups chicken broth
½ cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp olive oil or butter
Salt & pepper to taste
Optional: parsley, red pepper flakes
Sauté sausage in olive oil until browned. Remove and set aside.
In same skillet, cook onion and bell pepper for 3 minutes. Add garlic and Cajun seasoning; stir.
Return sausage to pan. Add pasta and broth. Bring to boil, then simmer 10–12 minutes.
Stir in cream and Parmesan. Simmer until thickened.
Adjust seasoning. Drizzle with garlic butter or garnish as desired. Serve warm.
Use Andouille or turkey sausage for variation.
Add spinach or mushrooms for more veggies.
Store up to 4 days in fridge; reheats well.
