Soft, buttery sugar cookies topped with thick almond-pink frosting, just like Crumbl’s holiday classic. Perfect for cookie boxes and festive trays.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ¾ cup butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp almond extract
  • 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt

Frosting:

  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp almond extract
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 23 tbsp milk or cream
  • Red or pink gel food coloring
  • Holiday sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg and extracts.
  2. Mix dry ingredients separately. Add to wet and stir until combined.
  3. Scoop dough into large balls. Flatten and bake at 350°F for 9–11 minutes.
  4. Cool completely before frosting.
  5. Beat frosting ingredients until fluffy. Tint with food coloring.
  6. Frost cookies and decorate with sprinkles.

Notes

Store frosted cookies in an airtight container. Chill for 10 minutes before stacking.
