Crack Burgers combine ground beef, cream cheese, cheddar, bacon, and ranch seasoning for a rich, savory burger with creamy texture and smoky flavor.

1 1/2 pounds ground beef (80/20)
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 packet (1 ounce) ranch seasoning mix
4 to 6 brioche or potato buns
Lettuce leaves
Tomato slices
Red onion slices
Pickles
Mayonnaise or ranch dressing (optional)

Instructions

1. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp. Drain and crumble.
2. In a large bowl, gently combine ground beef, cream cheese, cheddar, bacon, and ranch seasoning until evenly mixed.
3. Divide into 4 to 6 equal portions and shape into patties about 3/4 inch thick. Press a small indentation into the center of each.
4. Preheat grill or skillet to medium heat and lightly oil the surface.
5. Cook patties for 4 to 5 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
6. Toast buns lightly on the grill or in a pan.
7. Assemble burgers with desired toppings and serve warm.

Notes

Avoid overmixing the beef to maintain tenderness.
Chill patties briefly if mixture feels too soft.
Ground turkey can substitute for beef if desired.
