Creamy Steak Pasta is a rich and satisfying dish that pairs tender slices of seared steak with a velvety garlic-parmesan cream sauce and your favorite pasta — a gourmet dinner in under 40 minutes

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter, divided
  • 12 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or tagliatelle)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine or broth (optional)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water. Drain.
  2. Season steak with salt and pepper. Sear in skillet with oil and 1 tbsp butter for 3–4 min per side. Rest, then slice.
  3. In same pan, sauté garlic in remaining butter. Deglaze with wine (optional).
  4. Add cream and simmer. Stir in parmesan until smooth.
  5. Toss pasta in sauce. Add sliced steak and combine gently.
  6. Serve hot with parsley and extra cheese.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add mushrooms or spinach.
  • Swap steak with chicken or tofu if desired.
  • Use gluten-free pasta as needed.
