A simple and satisfying pasta recipe made with garlic-infused butter, olive oil, and al dente pasta. Quick, flavorful, and perfect for any night of the week.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti or pasta of choice

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 46 cloves garlic, thinly sliced or minced

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

  • Reserved pasta water

  • Fresh parsley or basil (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.

  • Add garlic and sauté 3–5 minutes until fragrant and lightly golden.

  • Add pasta to the skillet and toss to coat.

  • Add reserved pasta water gradually, tossing until sauce is silky.

  • Season with salt, pepper, and optional Parmesan.

  • Garnish with herbs and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Add chili flakes, lemon zest, or protein for variation.

  • Store leftovers in the fridge for 2 days; reheat with a splash of water or oil.

  • Use vegan butter and pasta for dairy-free and plant-based version
