A simple and satisfying pasta recipe made with garlic-infused butter, olive oil, and al dente pasta. Quick, flavorful, and perfect for any night of the week.
8 oz spaghetti or pasta of choice
4 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp olive oil
4–6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced or minced
Salt & black pepper, to taste
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Reserved pasta water
Fresh parsley or basil (for garnish)
Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and sauté 3–5 minutes until fragrant and lightly golden.
Add pasta to the skillet and toss to coat.
Add reserved pasta water gradually, tossing until sauce is silky.
Season with salt, pepper, and optional Parmesan.
Garnish with herbs and serve immediately.
Add chili flakes, lemon zest, or protein for variation.
Store leftovers in the fridge for 2 days; reheat with a splash of water or oil.
