This creamy garlic butter beef pasta is a rich and hearty one-pot dinner made with ground beef, tender pasta, and a luscious cream sauce. Quick, satisfying, and perfect for busy nights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 12 oz pasta (penne, shells, or rotini)

  • 3 cups beef broth

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3 tbsp butter (divided)

  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Optional: parsley, red pepper flakes, shredded mozzarella

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Sauté onion until soft, then add garlic.

  • Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.

  • Pour in beef broth and pasta. Stir and bring to a boil.

  • Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • Stir in cream and Parmesan. Cook 2–3 more minutes until thickened.

  • Melt 1 tbsp butter with 1 minced garlic clove and drizzle over pasta.

  • Garnish and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use lean beef for a lighter dish.

  • Add spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrients.

  • Store leftovers up to 4 days; reheat with a splash of broth.
