This Marry Me Chicken Pasta is a creamy, flavor-packed dish made with sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, Parmesan, and juicy seared chicken in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rigatoni)

  • 2 chicken breasts, pounded

  • 1 tbsp olive oil + 1 tbsp butter

  • Salt, pepper, 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes (in oil), chopped

  • ¾ cup chicken broth

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Fresh basil or parsley to finish

  • Reserved pasta water

Instructions

  • Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 1 cup water, then drain.

  • Season chicken and sear in oil + butter until golden. Remove and slice.

  • In same skillet, sauté garlic. Add sun-dried tomatoes.

  • Deglaze with broth, then add cream and cheese. Simmer until thick.

  • Add pasta, chicken, and toss. Use pasta water as needed to loosen.

  • Garnish with basil and serve hot.

Notes

Swap shrimp or plant-based chicken if preferred. Add spinach or mushrooms for extra veg.
