Creamy Marry Me Shrimp Pasta is a quick, flavorful dish with tender shrimp, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, and a rich Parmesan cream sauce — perfect for date night or easy family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 12 oz pasta (fettuccine, linguine, or penne)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ⅓ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • ½ cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Sauté in butter and oil until pink. Remove and set aside.
  3. In same skillet, sauté garlic and sun-dried tomatoes. Deglaze with broth.
  4. Stir in cream, seasoning, and Parmesan. Simmer until thickened.
  5. Return shrimp and pasta to pan. Toss to coat. Add pasta water if needed.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with basil or parsley.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best texture. Add spinach or lemon for variation. Adjust spice level to your liking.
