Marry Me Tortellini is a creamy, comforting pasta dish made with cheese tortellini, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, and a luscious Parmesan cream sauce — all ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 18 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 oz cream cheese (optional)
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, sliced
  • Optional: lemon juice, parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil. Sauté garlic and red pepper flakes until fragrant.
  3. Add sun-dried tomatoes and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in broth and cream. Stir in Parmesan, cream cheese, and seasoning. Simmer until thick.
  5. Add tortellini to the sauce and toss gently to coat.
  6. Stir in basil and serve with extra Parmesan and herbs.

Notes

  • Add chicken or shrimp for extra protein
  • Use spinach tortellini or cauliflower for variations
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days
