This Slow Cooker Million Dollar Pasta is a rich, creamy, cheesy comfort food classic made easy — no pre-cooking required. A hearty one-pot dinner the whole family will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 jars (24 oz each) marinara sauce
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup ricotta or cottage cheese (optional)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 12 oz uncooked penne or ziti
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown meat with onion and garlic. Season and drain.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, ricotta, Parmesan, and seasonings.
  3. In greased slow cooker, layer: sauce → uncooked pasta → meat → cheese mix. Repeat layers, ending with sauce and topping with mozzarella.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours.
  5. Let rest 15 minutes before serving. Garnish as desired.

Notes

Do not stir during cooking. For firmer pasta, check at 3 hours. Add spinach, mushrooms, or swap in turkey for a lighter version.
