Tender, juicy chicken thighs baked in a rich, creamy garlic sauce—all made in one pan for a flavorful, comforting meal with zero dryness.

Ingredients

Scale

6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat oil in an oven-safe skillet. Sear chicken skin-side down for 4–5 minutes. Flip and cook 2 more minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat. Add butter and garlic. Sauté 1 minute.
  4. Stir in broth, cream, Parmesan, and thyme. Simmer briefly.
  5. Return chicken to pan, skin-side up. Spoon sauce over top.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until chicken reaches 175°F.
  7. Rest 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

Use boneless thighs if preferred—reduce baking time. For dairy-free, use coconut cream and omit cheese.
