A rich, creamy spaghetti dish featuring garlic, Parmesan, and a velvety sauce. Comforting, simple, and quick to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced or thinly sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup reserved pasta water
  • Optional: parsley, red pepper flakes, lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook 2–3 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat and stir in Parmesan until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add spaghetti and toss to coat. Use pasta water to loosen sauce as needed.
  6. Serve warm with extra Parmesan and optional herbs.

Notes

  • Add grilled chicken, spinach, or lemon for variation.
  • Reheat with a splash of milk to revive sauce.
  • Use freshly grated cheese for best results.
