Raspberry Cream Napoleons feature crisp puff pastry layered with sweet vanilla cream and fresh raspberries for an elegant yet easy dessert.

1 tablespoon granulated sugar
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup fresh raspberries
Optional 2 tablespoons raspberry jam
Extra powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Cut puff pastry into rectangles and prick with fork.
  3. Sprinkle with sugar and bake 15 to 18 minutes until golden.
  4. Cool completely and slice each rectangle horizontally.
  5. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla.
  6. Whip heavy cream and fold into cream cheese mixture.
  7. Layer pastry with cream and raspberries.
  8. Top with final pastry layer and dust with powdered sugar.
  9. Refrigerate 30 minutes before serving.
