Decadent slutty brownies with a cookie base, fudgy brownie center, and chocolate layers for a rich, irresistible dessert.

Cookie Base:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt

Brownie Layer:
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Optional Top Layer:
1/2 cup chocolate chunks or extra cookie dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Make cookie base: cream butter and sugars, add egg and vanilla, fold in flour, baking soda, and salt. Spread in pan.
  3. Make brownie layer: melt butter, stir in sugar, beat in eggs and vanilla, fold in cocoa, flour, salt, and chocolate chips. Pour over cookie base.
  4. Optional: add extra cookie dough or chocolate chunks on top.
  5. Bake 30–35 minutes until edges set and center has moist crumbs.
  6. Cool completely, lift from pan, and cut into squares.

Notes

Slightly underbake for fudgier brownies. Optional: add swirls of peanut butter, caramel, or nuts.
