Simple Angel Chicken Slow Cooker Recipe

Creamy, slow-cooked angel chicken made with golden mushroom soup, Italian seasoning, and cream cheese. A comforting Crock Pot classic served over tender angel hair pasta.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can golden mushroom soup
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup chicken broth or white wine
  • 1 packet dry Italian dressing mix
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz angel hair pasta, cooked
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or parmesan for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in slow cooker and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk soup, cream cheese, broth, butter, and dressing mix.
  3. Pour sauce over chicken. Cover and cook on LOW 5–6 hrs or HIGH 3–4 hrs.
  4. Shred or slice chicken and stir back into sauce.
  5. Cook pasta and serve with sauce spooned over top.
  6. Garnish with parsley or cheese if desired.

Notes

Sub cream of mushroom for golden soup if needed. Add spinach or peas for extra color and nutrients. Great for meal prep or freezing.
