Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles are a fast and flavorful stir-fry featuring tender chicken in a sweet-savory garlic sauce tossed with noodles — an easy, better-than-takeout meal ready in 30 minutes.
1 lb boneless chicken thighs or breasts, thinly sliced
1 tbsp cornstarch
Salt & pepper
8 oz egg noodles or ramen
2 tbsp oil, divided
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp minced ginger (optional)
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1–2 tsp sriracha or chili flakes (optional)
1 tsp sesame oil
Garnish: scallions, sesame seeds, fresh herbs
Cook noodles and toss with sesame oil. Set aside.
Toss chicken with cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
Heat oil in skillet. Sear chicken until golden and cooked. Remove.
In same pan, sauté garlic (and ginger if using).
Add soy sauce, honey, vinegar, and sriracha. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
Return chicken to pan. Add noodles and toss well.
Garnish and serve hot.
Use gluten-free noodles and tamari for GF version.
