Ingredients

8 oz pasta (spaghetti or short pasta)
2 tbsp olive oil
5 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
1 medium zucchini, thinly sliced or ribboned
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan
Zest of 1 lemon
1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
1/2 cup reserved pasta water
Instructions
Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
In a skillet, heat olive oil. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
Add tomatoes and zucchini. Cook 6–8 minutes until tomatoes burst and zucchini softens.
