Cajun Shrimp with Garlic Butter Sauce is a quick skillet dish featuring spicy shrimp cooked in a rich, buttery garlic sauce.

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

6 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup chicken broth or dry white wine
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Optional for serving:
Cooked rice, pasta, mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables

Instructions

  1. Season and sear shrimp.
  2. Melt butter and sauté garlic.
  3. Deglaze with broth or wine.
  4. Add lemon juice and simmer.
  5. Return shrimp to sauce.
  6. Finish with parsley.
  7. Serve hot.

Notes
