Easy Caprese Pasta Salad is a fresh and simple dish made with tender pasta, juicy tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and basil, all tossed in a light olive oil and balsamic dressing. Perfect for summer meals, picnics, and quick lunches.

3 cups cooked pasta
1 1/2 cups cherry tomatoes
1 cup mozzarella pearls
1/3 cup fresh basil
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente.
  2. Drain, rinse briefly, and let cool completely.
  3. Halve the cherry tomatoes.
  4. Prepare mozzarella if needed.
  5. In a bowl, whisk olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  6. Combine pasta, tomatoes, and mozzarella in a large bowl.
  7. Pour dressing over and toss gently.
  8. Add fresh basil and mix lightly.
  9. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  10. Let sit briefly before serving.
