Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds chicken thighs or breasts
1/2 cup yogurt
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
4 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon coriander
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup mayonnaise or yogurt
3 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
Pita bread
Lettuce
Tomato
Cucumber
Red onion

Instructions

  1. Mix marinade ingredients and coat chicken.
  2. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Cook chicken until fully done and slice.
  4. Mix garlic sauce ingredients.
  5. Assemble chicken, vegetables, and sauce in bread.

Notes

Marinate longer for deeper flavor. Do not overcook chicken.
