2 1/2 pounds beef chuck roast
3 cups beef broth
1 packet onion soup mix
1/2 cup sliced onion
3 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
4 tablespoons butter
6 sandwich rolls
6 slices provolone cheese
