1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
8 small corn or flour tortillas
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1 lime, cut into wedges
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1/2 cup shredded cabbage (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season shrimp with spices.
  2. Heat oil and cook garlic briefly.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink.
  4. Squeeze lime over shrimp.
  5. Warm tortillas.
  6. Fill tortillas with shrimp.
  7. Add cilantro and toppings.
  8. Serve with lime wedges.

Notes

Do not overcook shrimp. Add avocado or cabbage for extra texture. Adjust spice level to taste.
