A rich, creamy spaghetti dish made with garlic, parmesan, and cream — silky, cheesy, and ready in under 30 minutes.
12 oz spaghetti
2 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
¾ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper, to taste
½ cup reserved pasta water
Chopped parsley or chives (optional)
Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½–¾ cup of pasta water. Drain.
In a skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until golden.
Stir in cream and simmer gently for 3–4 minutes.
Gradually add parmesan, whisking until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
Toss in cooked spaghetti. Add pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.
Garnish with herbs and extra cheese. Serve hot.
Use freshly grated cheese for best results.
Add mushrooms, spinach, or protein for variation.
Reheat with a splash of cream or milk.
