A spicy, savory ground beef stir-fry bowl with garlic-infused vegetables and fluffy jasmine rice — perfect for quick weeknight meals or meal prep.

For the Stir-Fry Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster or hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp brown sugar or honey
  • ½ tsp chili flakes or 1 tsp sriracha
  • 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)

For the Beef:

  • 1 lb ground beef (85–90% lean)
  • 23 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp neutral oil

For the Vegetables:

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • ½ cup snap peas or julienned carrots
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Salt to taste

For Assembly:

  • 23 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • Garnishes: sliced green onions, sesame seeds, lime wedges, chili oil

Instructions

  1. Cook rice and keep warm.
  2. Mix stir-fry sauce ingredients and set aside.
  3. Brown ground beef in oil. Add garlic and sauce. Simmer 2–3 mins.
  4. Stir-fry veggies in separate pan until crisp-tender. Add garlic and season.
  5. Assemble bowls with rice, beef, veggies, and toppings. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Swap beef for ground turkey or tofu.
